Chapelton Scarecrow Festival 2024: Celebrating Scotland

With just one more week to go of the summer holidays, we’re encouraging families to make the most of the sunshine and explore Chapelton’s annual Scarecrow Festival – which is back for 2024! Running throughout the month of August, this year’s event promises to be more exciting than ever as local residents and business owners compete to see who can design and create the best scarecrow…

Taking place all around the town, our theme this year celebrates the very best of Scotland. From pipers adorned in tartan to the mythical Loch Ness Monster affectionately known ‘Nessie’, you are likely to spot superb scarecrows paying a wonderful tribute to our Scottish heritage!
