One of the latest additions to the community, Skin & Co Studio offers a welcoming space dedicated to expert beauty treatments. Both Kelly and Ellise are on hand to help you look and feel your very best.

Kelly’s services include bespoke facials, sculpting treatments, microneedling, SQT microneedling, chemical peels and brow treatments, whilst Ellise offers massage, facials, nails, brows, lashes and waxing.

Cox & Co

The local barbershop for many, Cox & Co provides all of your bespoke men’s hair and beard grooming needs in a relaxed and friendly setting.

The team includes owner Josh Cox, who has over eight years’ experience in the barbering industry, bringing skill, precision and a passion for quality service to every appointment, as well as Nathan Stewart, who joined in late 2024 after six years working in the heart of Aberdeen.

The Gatehouse Taproom & Craft Bottle Shop by Devenick Drinks Co.

A small spot with big vibes! Visit the bottle shop and fully licensed taproom, where you can sample Devenick’s very own Double IPA, or enjoy their artisan gin and vodka – all brewed and distilled locally.

The taproom, founded by Andy and Bryan, offers an intimate setting with comfortable indoor seating and a sheltered beer garden, complete with blankets and gas heaters to keep you cosy. It is also available to hire for private events. The taproom is both child and pet-friendly, making it a welcoming space for all.

The Juicing Co.

Vanessa at The Juicing Co. creates cold-pressed juices and curated juice packages designed to fit seamlessly into any routine – whether you’re looking for a daily boost, a gentle reset, or simply want to enjoy more fresh, nourishing ingredients.

Juicing takes place every Monday, and the Juicery is open for collections and walk-ins from 2 pm to 4 pm, stocked with fresh juice and occasional specials available on the day.

Being a juice supplier to The Voice, Dancing on Ice and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, we are so fortunate that Vanessa has chosen Chapelton as her base!

Amy Joy Robertson, illustrator of Aunty Planty and the Amazing Eco Warriors who is based in Stonehaven, will also be joining us on Sunday too.

As a true community hub, The Hut proudly serves as the registration base for the annual Chapelton of Elsick 10k race. Each year, runners gather here to collect their race bibs, soak up the atmosphere and prepare for the big event. It’s always a lovely and exciting start to race day!

Scottish antique dealer Pam Picks hosted a beautifully curated pop-up event at The Hut. Pam, who sources decorative antiques and vintage homeware from all over the UK, Europe and beyond, transformed the space into a treasure trove of unique finds. Visitors from Chapelton and beyond browsed and had the opportunity to take home some charming statement pieces.

Pilates with Wyld Pilates

The Hut has also been transformed into a welcoming pilates studio. Chapelton resident and founder of Wyld Pilates, Lainey, hosts regular mat pilates classes in the space. These sessions on a Saturday morning have quickly become a favourite for those looking to improve strength, flexibility and overall wellbeing.

Coorie Comforts styled The Hut with its signature cosy aesthetic for a special pop-up shop. Residents and visitors were invited to explore a range of homewares, handcrafted furniture and decorative pieces – all thoughtfully displayed to create a warm and inviting shopping experience.

Dried flower workshop with Efme & Bo

Efme & Bo recently used The Hut for a ‘Galentines’ dried flower bouquet workshop at The Hut – a wonderful opportunity to learn the process of creating a hand-tied luxury dried flower bouquet from scratch, complete with a glass of fizz and chocolates.

Following its success, not one but two Mother’s Day workshops at The Hut are already booked into the calendar!

Of course, The Hut is transformed into Santa’s Grotto every Christmas by the Chapelton Community Association, making it the perfect spot for children to meet the man himself!
