Chapelton Resident Finds Perfect Place to Live, Work and Play

As one of the North East’s newest towns, Chapelton has quickly become a place for people to live, work and play.

For Fraser Sangster who lives in a ZeroC property within the town, Chapelton was the ideal place to call home whilst growing his career and becoming part of a community.

Fraser commented: “Working in the nursery school in Chapelton I always kept my eye on the properties available. I had browsed homes in other developments but often found that the housetypes were all the same and just didn’t appeal to me. It’s not like that in Chapelton and given I already worked in the town it was the perfect place to settle.

“Every corner of Chapelton is different and I love that. There’s a great mix of housetypes from different builders and as a first time buyer I was able to find a property that suited my lifestyle and budget.

“My ZeroC flat is perfect for me but the kitchen is definitely my favourite space. With the island in the middle it’s great for socialising whilst cooking. The fibre internet is also incredibly fast which makes a huge difference to everyday life.

“It takes me just minutes to walk to work and I always see so many friendly faces along the way. The community is great to be part of, especially when the farmers markets are on and everyone comes together. Everyone is so friendly and Chapelton is one of those unique places where you can meet likeminded people and really get to know them as neighbours.”
