The first neighbourhood centre is drawing ever closer as the ground is being cleared for the next stage of development towards the top of Cairnhill and the first primary school.
Chapelton builders have received planning consent for a series of courtyard cottages and the foundations for these are well underway. Recently planning consent has been received for the next green area Liddell Park and the Community Building Liddell Hut within. This area is bordered to the west by the Retirement Village with 82 homes and this has also received permission. Work is starting in earnest on all these areas.
In addition planning is in for the next stage of houses and commercial units to the north of the park and we are hopeful of news in the near future.
