Over 100 people came last weekend (16th April) to see the new house types and ideas for the community. All three housebuilders have worked with EDC to respond quickly to the changing Aberdeen house market and are offering smaller homes and many single storey options in the next phases, both cottages(bungalows) and fantastic apartments. A number of these will be ready for occupation from early next year.
Ideas for a bar/pub site were put forward and proved extremely popular. Also the idea of a retirement village of 82 homes towards the Cairnhill centre and a starter office hub down at the redundant Nether Cairnhill Farm buildings.
