RedRocks 

Offering bespoke bridal accessories, jewellery, gifts and an award-winning wedding design service, RedRocks is a busy local business located at The Boxes in Chapelton and was created by talented designer, Claire Notrangelo. 

From stunning pieces of jewellery curated by several Scottish designers to an impressive collection of healing crystals, books and mindful themed gifts, you’re certainly not short of choice when it comes to thoughtful gifts for your loved ones. Amongst the growing collection of wonderful gifts, RedRocks also offers bespoke bridal headpieces and beautiful jewellery, guaranteed to add a touch of glamour to your special day. 

Following two successful years at The Boxes, Redrocks has recently expanded its business premises into a double box, providing Claire with plenty of room to grow and accommodate the increasing customer demand. To add to the peaceful ambience of the box, in the centre of the unit stands a magnificent tree which is guaranteed to catch the attention of customers entering the store.

AB Wellness and Reflexology

After feeling burnt out, Shona Tough decided to embark on her own wellness journey where she discovered her love and passion for reflexology, leading her to train and qualify as a Clinical Reflexologist in 2019. Shortly after, Shona became a member of the Association of Reflexologists – a professional accreditation only given to the most highly trained – where she continued to nurture and develop her understanding and skills. 

Looking to provide others with a space to relax, rejuvenate and reap the benefits of clinical reflexology, Shona founded AB Wellness and Reflexology. In 2022, Shona decided it was time for a change and relocated her business to The Boxes, where she has created an inviting and tranquil retail space filled with lots of lovely self-care products, designed to encourage clients to carve out time for themselves.

Stinky Beasties

If you have a four-legged friend who is in need of some TLC, then Stinky Beasties is definitely the place for you. From natural and handmade dog grooming products to incredible accessories including cosy coats, sumptuous beds, bamboo bowls, brushes, toys and treats galore, Stinky Beasties has everything you need to ensure that your pet is cared for. 

All products at Stinky Beasties are made from natural and vegan-friendly ingredients, designed to care for your pet’s skin and coats while also protecting the world around us through the use of no palm oil, SLS, artificial fragrances, colours, harsh preservatives and recyclable packaging. Devenick Drinks Co. 

Local Aberdeenshire based drinks business, Devenick Drinks Co. has been situated at The Boxes since 2022 and the experience so far has been an incredible whirlwind of events! 

Originally launching a bottle shop at The Boxes in December 2022, founders Andy and Bryan have since hosted two successful pub nights at The Hut in Chapelton and have recently expanded the business into a second box – The Gatehouse Taproom. The thriving taproom serves up many of Devenick Drinks’ specialities including local craft beers, artisan gins, rums, vodkas, wines, cocktails and fizz, with the option of gluten-free and vegan drinks too. 

Alongside the cosy and intimate setting inside the Gatehouse Taproom, there is also an outdoor beer garden – the ideal spot for enjoying some refreshing ice-cold drinks during the summer months. Children and dogs are also welcome, making it even easier for you to pop past or enjoy a browse on the weekends or weekdays.

Cox & Co Barber Shop

First opening at The Boxes in the summer of 2021, and undergoing a large rebrand in early 2023, Cox and Co Barber Shop provides those in the local and surrounding areas with outstanding mens barbering services, focusing on hair, beards and facial treatments. 

The owner, Josh Cox, prides himself on delivering an exceptional service to each and every client and is always willing to welcome new clients to his portfolio. With a sleek and contemporary look, the interior and exterior of the box have been tastefully decorated to create a space that feels comfortable and calming.

A fresh and minimalistic studio space offering everything from cosmetic and fine line tattoos to microblading, powdered brows, lip blushing and scalp micropigmentation, By Sarah is the newest addition to The Boxes at Chapelton. 

Owner, Sarah Argo, started cosmetic tattooing five years ago and has been in the beauty industry for around 17 years, opening her first business 12 years ago. Bringing a wealth of experience to her new box at Chapelton, Sarah plans to add to her range of treatments in the near future by offering areola restoration – a treatment that uses tattooing to give the illusion of a 3D nipple and areola.
