After seven successful years as Chapelton’s premier hair, beauty, and wellness salon at its original Hume Square location, The Lounge expanded to a new, larger space at 29 Quarryline Street at the end of last year. Welcome Area

“We wanted the reception area to be welcoming and open. We rebranded our colour scheme when we moved premises, choosing olive green and gold! To complement that, we introduced more earthy tones throughout. We also added palm trees to enhance the ambiance and improve air quality by removing pollutants.

“The welcome space is also still evolving; we recently added a waiting area and extended our retail space.”

Treatment Rooms

“We offer a range of pampering services in the treatment room at The Lounge, including massages, ELEMIS and Medik8 facials, advanced facials like microneedling, dermaplaning, and peels. We also provide Million Dollar facials and advanced electrical facials, which include microcurrent and LED light therapy.”

“Our most popular treatment at the moment is our Re-set – Back, Face & Scalp Spa Treatment. This includes an ELEMIS express facial, scalp massage, deep cleansing back exfoliation followed by a muscle-melting back massage. Another firm favourite is the hot stone massage!”

“ELEMIS takes a holistic approach to skincare. Backed by clinical trials, their products help protect, restore, and renew skin health. Nail Station

“At The Lounge, our clients adore BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) for its durability and natural look, perfect for those who prefer low-maintenance yet stylish nails. Lip gloss nails are also a big hit, featuring glossy finishes in vibrant shades like pink and peach that perfectly capture the essence of spring. Additionally, gel polish remains a favourite for its long-lasting shine and variety of colors that complement any occasion or season.

Hair Stations

“We meticulously designed each space at The Lounge to be versatile and inviting. For the hair station, our goal was to create a setting that fosters both social interaction and privacy, which led us to choose a long communal table. Positioned to overlook the scenic surroundings outside and within the salon, our neutral and earthy color palette, complemented by accents of gold, enhances the overall ambiance. 

“This chic and comfortable environment sets the stage for a range of services, from expert hair styling and cutting to personalised hair coloring techniques that bring out your natural beauty. We’re committed to providing not only exceptional hair care but also a relaxing and stylish experience tailored to meet your individual needs and preferences.”

Retail Space

“Our retail space offers a range of products carefully selected to enhance your beauty and wellness routine. We retail ELEMIS and Medik8 skincare products, as well as Kevin Murphy hair products. We chose to work with brands that are environmentally friendly, cruelty-free, and vegan-friendly. Both ELEMIS and Medik8 have BCorp status. During the festive season we also have gift sets and exclusive collections available!

“People often ask if there is a favourite product and I always say it’s hard to choose a favourite. ELEMIS is a beautiful luxury spa brand and flies off the shelves, Medik8 is medical-grade skincare tailored toward achieving healthy skin, and Kevin Murphy is skincare for your hair – they all complement each other wonderfully.”

The Bar

“This final space is still a work in progress. We are designing the bar to be a multi-use space, available for exclusive use. We have hosted events like an ELEMIS event and Mother’s Day spa treatments here, with grazing boxes from our friends at Brae. We plan to host more events in the future and we recently added a high bar table to use as a social space where clients can have their nails done and enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz!”
