First Homes on Public View from Saturday 31st May

May 27, 2014

The plans for the first homes at Scotland’s largest planned new town, Chapelton, five miles south of Aberdeen, will be on view to the general public for the first time at the sales and visitor centres, from this Saturday (31 May 2014).

House-builders AJC Homes, Stephen and ZeroC will be offering prospective buyers the opportunity to put down a deposit on the first homes in the town.

The opening of the centre will follow a house-type launch event at Union Square, Aberdeen, on Friday 30th May, where a scale model of the first neighbourhood will be on display along with CGI animations. Elsick Development Company (EDC) will be on-hand to help those looking to find out more about the benefits of buying a home in the £2 billion, 8,000-home town.

Lord Southesk, director of EDC, will be unveiling the scale model of the town at Union Square. He said: “Revealing the range of house-types available at Chapelton is an exciting step in the development. The scale model displays what will be part of a thriving new sustainable community with a busy high street, schools, healthcare facilities and lots of green space on 2,000 acres of farmland.

“The house designs suit a variety of needs and I look forward to welcoming those who are further interested to our new on-site visitor centre alongside the house-builders’ sales centres, where from Saturday they will be able to purchase their new homes.”

The Chapelton exhibition will be located outside Boots at Union Square from 10 a.m. on Friday 30th May and staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Prospective buyers who would like to be a part of Chapelton are invited to the new onsite visitor centre from 11 a.m. on Saturday where EDC and the house-builders will be available to discuss the different opportunities for purchasing a house.
