EDC has had notification from BEAR of an authorised lane closure of the A90 northbound inside lane at Newtonhill for Wednesday, 30th April and Thursday, 1st May 2014. The work to be carried out is preparatory work on the gas pipe to ensure quicker completion of the work at a later date. We anticipate that the work will be carried out outwith rush hour and in one day, but have taken advantage of the offer to have the lane closure for two consecutive days in case it is required.
WM Donald will be carrying out the work in conjunction with a team from Scotland Gas Networks and will commence the excavation work soon after 9.30am on Wednesday 31st April when the traffic management will be in place.
