EDC will be offering a free ‘Dial-A-Ride’ transport service to bus Chapelton residents between Hume Square and the Park and Choose facility by the A90, starting on Monday 14th December.
The hours of operation will be week-days’ peak periods, so 06:00 to 09:00 and then 16:00 to 19:00, connecting with bus services on the A90 which will stop every 20-30 minutes at the Park & Choose. The service will not be available on weekends or public holidays.
For residents wishing to use this service, please ring 07787 407580 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 at least 12 hours in advance of the desired pick up time. Please give your name and number so that the booking can then be acknowledged. If you should change your mind, we’d be grateful if you could let us know to avoid a wasted journey.
The service is limited to running between Hume Square and the Park and Choose but Blue Card Holders can be picked up from and dropped off at their homes. Please be aware, as you might not be the only passenger, the service will need to leave on time to catch the intended bus.
It is intended to run this service until such time that a time-tabled bus can be introduced. In the meantime, we hope that you find the service of use.
