Scott+Simmons landscape architects are specialists in the design and delivery of public space – the space between buildings. We work principally in Scotland, with urban, rural, and remote island communities.
Our work involves close engagement with our clients, co-consultants, and the community to deliver distinctive, sustainable and liveable places. We have provided advice to the Scottish Government on the future of town centres and are currently part of the UK Government’s High Street Task Force.
Members of our Team have been involved at Chapelton since 2013 specialising in the technical design and delivery. Recently, we have supported EDC and CCIC in the development of the natural play area Patey Park and are currently coordinating specialist play suppliers and rural skills specialists in the design of the next phase. We are also pleased to support the annual Community Woodland Planting.
