We have a spooky programme of activities in store for residents and visitors to Chapelton over the Halloween weekend. Prepare to be treated (not tricked) to a whole host of fun events suitable for all ages.

Saturday 27th October

We will kick things off on Saturday the 27th of October, where Hume Square will be transformed into a pumpkin patch filled with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes allowing visitors to select their own pumpkin before heading to the carving workshop which will take place in the Chapelton Community Interest Cabin.

Carving sets and templates will be provided to help you and / or your children get creative and make your scariest, or most beautiful, design! Or alternatively – if you’d like to freestyle it – you are very welcome to design your own.

Delicious and healthy refreshments will be available throughout the day courtesy of the Liberty Kitchen’s food truck pop-up, serving up tasty autumnal vegetable soups, seasonal bakes and hot drinks.

Tickets for the pumpkin patch and carving workshop cost £5 per person and can be purchased by emailing Carol Leslie at CCIC_Admin@chapeltonlife.co.uk.

Sunday 28th of October

To round up our eerie weekend, join us on our Bat and Moth Walk as we take on Chapelton after dark. Led by the Ranger Service, we will be setting off at 6pm with our Halloween lanterns guiding the way.
