Chapelton Festive Farmers’ Market

The Chapelton’s popular Farmers’ Market will be held on Sunday 17th November. Residents and visitors will have a chance to browse more than 30 stalls selling great local produce and products, from fresh meat and fish to cakes and Christmas gift ideas. There will plenty of food to enjoy on the day, such as paella, pizzas and freshly made pancakes. Entry to the market and parking is free of charge. Donations to the marshalling charity are optional and can be made by cash or card on the day.

Open 11am-2:30pm at Burgess Park near The Boxes at Chapelton. Use postcode AB39 8AE. On entering Chapelton, signage and marshals will direct you to parking if required. Click here for more details.

Scarecrow Festival 1st – 31st August 2024

The Chapelton Scarecrow Festival is now underway and this year the theme is Scotland!

Come along to Chapelton any time during the month of August to see our wonderful scarecrows.  Bring the family and vote for your favourite scarecrow.  We hope you will also donate to support some great local projects.

Chapelton Bike Ride 2024

The annual Chapelton Bike Ride returns to the town for its ninth year on Sunday 1st September 2024, raising money and awareness for the charity North East Sensory Services, a cause dedicated to helping blind and deaf people achieve independence. We’re delighted to announce Lathallan School as the headline sponsor of the popular event this year.

The Routes
• 46 mile route going through Chapelton, Durris Forest and Stonehaven.
• A shorter 12 mile route, cycling through the town’s roads and pathways.

A 5km walk will also take place on the day.

Chapelton Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

Get creative in Chapelton this Christmas as Karen from This is 36 Florals will be hosting a luxury wreath making workshop at Slate & Grain.
Expert florist Karen will be guiding you through the fun and festive process of making your very own luxury wreath. All materials will be provided – Think dried orange and fruit slices, acorns, berries, feathers, cinnamon, foraged bracken and locally grown teasels and foliage. You will make your wreath from scratch on a moss ring which will act as the water source to keep your wreath looking festive and fresh until Christmas.

Places for People Chapelton Bike Ride and Walk

This event was on: Sunday 25 September 2022

The Chapelton Bike Ride is a great day out for all the family. Individuals, teams and families can take part in either a 12 or 46 mile cycle with all money raised going to local charity, North East Sensory Services. Stonehaven Cycling Club will be responsible for the routes again with hot food and stalls all day at Hume Square, for everyone to enjoy. 

A 5km walk with Brio Retirement Living will also take place on the day, with kids entertainment and face painting too.
