Chapelton’s popular farmers’ market is held 4 times a year, offering a chance to purchase some of the finest produce from across the North East of Scotland.
Hosted outdoors in Burgess Park, the event boasts over 30 stalls with a range of produce and items from local suppliers as well as hot food to take away.
Open 11am-2:30pm. Use postcode AB39 9AE.
Please walk, cycle or use public transport if you can.  Free parking is available if required.
On entering Chapelton, signage and marshals will direct you. Entry is also free.

Chapelton Gala

We are happy to invite you to the first ever Chapelton Gala being held at Burgess Park, in aid of Grampian Autistic Society.

Grampian Autistic Society is a local charity that provide support to those of all ages with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).  They seek to ensure the provision of the best possible education, care, support and opportunity for those with ASCs in the North East of Scotland.

The Society also seeks to support families, to improve understanding of autism, and to develop best practice amongst carers, professionals and society at large.

Chapelton Gala will take place at Burgess Park on 14th August 2021 between 10am – 4pm.

We hope local families can come along and have a fun day out, while also raising funds for essential services and awareness of ASCs.

The Gala will boast a selection of food vendors serving delicious treats like pizza and seafood, along with stallholders such as Coreen’s Country Cottage and Mother Pupper.

Mearns FM will be attending to provide live music throughout the day, and there will be a whole host of children’s activities including face-painting and build your own bear.

All money raised from the day will be donated directly to Grampian Autistic Society.

Comedy Night @ Chapelton – SOLD OUT

Saturday 14th August is Gala Day in Chapelton and we are super excited to be bringing the day to a close with a fantastic comedy night, hosted by Rockhopper Comedy in aid of Grampian Autistic Society. Orchid will be behind the bar. The headliner is Martin Bearne with support from Jamie Tait, Declan McGuigan, Violet Wilde, Scott Christie and Peter Wood.

Chapelton Scarecrow Festival 1st-31st Aug

Chapelton Bike Ride

The annual Chapelton Bike Ride returns to the town for its sixth year on Sunday 5th September 2021.

Sponsored by Burness Paull the event will raise money for the charity North East Sensory Services, a cause dedicated to helping blind and deaf people achieve independence.

The Routes
• 42 mile route going through Chapelton, Durris Forest and Stonehaven.
• A shorter 12 mile route, cycling through the town’s roads and pathways.

Chapelton Easter Egg Hunt 2021

We’ve got something egg-stra special for you to hunt for this Easter in Chapelton!

12 amazing local artists have each designed an egg, and throughout the spring you’ll be able to take a walking trail around Chapelton to find them. Stop by Hume Square to get a peek of the map that might just help you on your way or download it here.

Which egg will be your favourite? Use the designs to inspire you to enter our DESIGN AN EGG COMPETITION. There’s fun prizes for age groups 0-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-11 years and 12 & over.

Anyone can enter – just download the template or draw your own.

Entries will all be displayed in The Hut and must be received by midnight on Sunday 18th April 2021. (Post through The Hut letterbox or send to: Easter Egg Competition, The Hut, Liddell Park, Chapelton AB39 8BA.)

During the event we will be auctioning each artist’s egg with all proceeds going to Grampian Autistic Society. You can place a bid on the eggs or find out more about this here.
